Fugu Fugu Press is a design and print studio based in Altadena, run by Shino and Ken Charlson. Since 2008, they’ve been printing letterpress greeting cards featuring adorable critters and earnest messages.

Life took an unexpected turn in 2025 for the Charlsons. While going through Shino’s health challenges, the Eaton Fire in Altadena destroyed their home studio. Word got around in the greeting card community, and among the helping hands that reached out with support was that of Tess from Egg Press. Favorite Fugu Fugu designs are now available through Egg Press, plus many brand new products!
